THE GORGEOUS GILET

You know it's winter time when the faux fur comes out. Always faux, never real. Last year we saw gilets really coming into fashion, and once again they are back in full force. I love these because they keep you nice and warm, even if you have your arms out. Perfect to throw on or dress up any basic outfit. For this post I've decided to wear one of my many gilets in a more causal style. They are wonderful to use in both smart and casual outfits. Under my gilet I am wearing a basic black turtle neck top from Quiz. Quiz have an array of these tops in different colours including camel, khaki and stone at only under a tenner! Bargin. 

To match the colour of the faux fur in my gilet, I wore brown flat boots. These boots are perfect for winter as they keep your feet dry and in addition they are easy to clean after treks along muddy trails. You can also wear nice warm fluffy socks underneath and no one would know a thing! To complete this casual look, I wore a pair of ripped Leigh jeans from Topshop. Topshop sell different styles and lengths of jeans which means there are always a pair a jeans perfect for someone. I prefer Leighs as they have a bit of stretch to them so they can fit over my muscular dancer legs and Beyonce booty.

THE WONDERFUL WAISTCOAT

This outfit is perfect for day-to-night wear. During the day, this outfit is a great way to stay casually while looking stylish. The sleeveless waistcoat is currently the height of high street fashion, and you will be able to find a rainbow of different colours in stores. I've personally gone for a waistcoat from Quiz as (yes, for obvious reasons) but this can easily be thrown into the washing machine as it could gain marks being white. All colours that you can buy this waistcoat in will be perfect for this summer season. I have gone for the simple white and black waistcoats, because quite frankly, you can't go wrong with those colours. 

To make this outfit suitable for the night time, simple pop on a pair of classic white heels. The heels featured in this post are from Miss Guided. Again, you can't go wrong with these. These simple white heels will go with pretty much any outfit, and as there isn't a lot of material around your foot, for me it's completely painless. That's exactly what I need when I'm dancing to the small hours of the morning. No pain during the night and my feet aren't still hurting when I roll up to work the next morning hungover. Smart, casual, day and night, I think I will be wearing this outfit quite a lot!

CHRISTMAS TIME

Merry Christmas everyone! This year Christmas jumpers are extremely popular which can be decorated with all the colours and patterns you can think of. Therefore this means there is a jumper for everyone, from humorous to traditional. Personally I prefer a funny jumper and this year I brought a Family Guy themed one from Primark. This was actually from the men's section within the shop and I am a fan of their jumpers all year round. I feel it is important to wear something comfortable on this special day as it can involve a lot of moving around (and we might need that extra bit of stretch after the Christmas dinner!). Although England didn't get a white Christmas, I still added some cosy socks to complete this outfit.

BEACH DAZE

If it wasn't for the empty beaches you might think these were taken in the middle of summer, but surprisingly it was only a couple of weeks ago! I'm in love with the look of a top tucked into something high waisted. It feels quite 90's, yet still up to date with fashion. This top allows a peek-a-boo bra while keeping it looking classy. I think this outfit can be used during a summer evening or throughout autumn. A trip to the beach isn't complete without indulging in some sugary goodness, in the form of these delicious doughnuts.
