LONDON FASHION WEEK

London Fashion Week is one of our favourite events that we always look forward to. A week dedicated to fashion, models and catwalks is our idea of heaven. As well as this, an additional weekend is added onto the end of LFW for even more fashion. This week witnessed the bold, the bright and Kellogg's cereal brands (We're not kidding, check out Anya Hindmarch AW14 collection). Being a big fan of sequins, one of our personal favourites was a collection designed by Zeyne Kartal. We also fell in love with Ashley Williams collection while watching the models strut down the catwalk.

All in all we both wished that we could afford all the clothes we saw on the catwalks. We can also safely say that designers defiantly thought outside the box when it came to inspiration this season. Above are a few snaps that we took during both London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend. Now all we have to do is wait until September to do it all over again.

TOURIST IN ROME

On our first full day in Rome, we woke up early to bright winter sunshine without a cloud in sight. Rushing down our breakfast we headed into the city as soon as possible, with so many places to see we had to act fast! Stepping off the metro we arrived at the Il Vittoriano, and its grandeur was visible from afar. It's hard to ignore the mountains of white marble, towering over you, and steps as far as they eye can see. Completed in 1925, the monument was built to honor Victor Emmanuel, the first king of unified Italy. Nowadays it just houses a museum with an elevator that reaches the top with views across Rome. Unfortunately with only a limited time and lots of places to visit, we didn't have a chance to make it to the top.

This is an ideal outfit when your day involves a lot of walking. The warm coat has a furry collar which means not having to layer up with scarfs. It's essential to keep warm and comfy while exploring so these leggings are ideal. If you're like me and can't afford the real deal, these pretend Ugg boots do just the same job, although they don't last as long. While this outfit keeps you warm and comfy, it is also stylish in case you happen to walk past a hot Italian guy.

BRIGHT RED

We couldn't have asked for better weather to shoot this look, crystal blue skies and no rain for once! Living in England is like living inside a rain cloud some days. So after a scout we stumbled into this deserted alley, undisturbed and peaceful from the hustle of our surroundings.

This outfit is very simple and casual yet it can also be used for smart occasions. The red bag creates a bright pop of colour which makes the outfit more exciting without taking the smart look away. This could be used for situations like interviews or meetings. To make this outfit look slightly less smart, simply add a nice flat shoe. These court shoes are my new babies, bordering on obsession. It's safe to say they will be worn a lot!
